Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Getting big in pop music isn't necessarily an impressive feat, but staying big requires talent, charisma, drive and more than a little bit of luck. It's nothing short of impressive that the wave of bubblegum pop artists who ruled the airwaves at the turn of the century are still relevant and at the top of their games in 2010. Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake are some of the most respected icons on the music scene, with the Backstreet Boys not far behind. Though they have 20 percent fewer members than they did 10 years ago, they continue to produce albums and sell out venues all over the world. In fact, the group took the stage of Melon-Ax Hall in Seoul, South Korea for a concert last night. It's more proof that the language of pop is universal, and that Backstreet has always been back.
They weren't the only stars getting out of the house this week, as newly-engaged Hilary Duff showed off her ring and enjoyed a meal with fiancé Mike Comrie at Los Angeles restaurant Katsuya, while 50 Cent performed in Berlin, Germany. Click here for these photos as well as the entire "Spotted!" archive, which features over 400 candid shots of stars like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, the Jonas Brothers, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Shakira, Diddy, Lil Wayne, Miley Cyrus and John Mayer!
